Our Story
Founded in 1844, Reifsnider Farm is a family enterprise that has provided the community with healthy, local food for seven generations on land that once belonged to Francis Scott Key of Star-Spangled Banner fame. Rebecca Reifsnider Conrad and her husband, Kyle Conrad, continue the legacy as the newest operators of the farm. They are joined by Rebecca’s parents, Jon and Deb Reifsnider. Reifsnider Farm has adapted to customers’ needs and the whims of the market over the years. David L. and Daisy Pearl Reifsnider, Rebecca’s great-grandparents, grew wheat as a cash crop. David M. and Vesta Reifsnider, Rebecca's grandparents, ran it as a dairy farm, and Jon and Deb Reifsnider switched to raising beef. A large vegetable garden supplying fresh, holistic produce was the start of Kyle and Rebecca’s dream for the farm, and they planted the seeds in 2021. Today the farm is continuing to grow and thrive, focusing on expanding both beef and garden elements to provide fresh, healthy, and quality food to the community.
Pasture Raised, No Antibiotics, No Hormones
Here at Reifsnider Farm, we work hard as a family to supply our community with high-quality beef and produce. Our beef cows are pasture-raised through rotational grazing and are not given any hormones or antibiotics. In our garden, we practice crop rotation and utilize cover crops to keep our soil healthy while growing a wide variety of seasonal produce.

I would like to thank the Reifsnider's for the wonderful meat that we have purchased. I have bought meat in the past from different farmers and it's been good, but their meat has been excellent from steaks to roast to ground meat. I have not had one bad piece of meat yet. Excellent customer service from start to finish.

Super tender and tasty beef. I grilled up my first steak the same day I picked it up. The produce subscription service is also a convenient way to get fresh vegetables. It's something new every week!
